If you're at the point where you're getting bombed without resistance, your team is doing something wrong. Diligent team players will pull SPAA and position themslves to protect their comrades from air strikes. I greatly enjoy running CAPs in Ground Battles to stop enemy attackers/bombers/fighters from dropping bombs on my ground based Brothers and Sisters in arms. What i'm talking about is the fact that planes dropping bombs on your tank when you play a game mode specifically for tanks ruins just about any sense and fun in a game mode called "TANK realistic battles". numerous aircraft across many BRs with 30mm HVAP belts most 109s and 190s carry a strike or two worth of ordinance, same as P-47s and P-51s Bf 110 G-2 with 66 37mm rounds with 140mm pen Germany as well has some of the best ground pounders in the game, you just never hear it over the sound of those same pilots/tankers complaint about P-47s. Not every single SPAA unit is, but every nation has potent ones and they are very effective when used properly and well. Not because they just rush cap with M22s to spawn planes.
Most people have hundreds or thousands of hours in aircraft because there were aircraft only in the game for 2 years before tanks even came along. SPAA is always difficult to use and easy to counter as well.Īnd I guess it's mainly US that gets a really good lineup for ground attacking where Germany/Japan don't as much.
